Anyone know where to buy an antenna like the one on this Doka?

Where can I get one?

Isn't that a Toyota or another Japanese brand car antenna....? I THINK that's the case... :-k

Looks like the same one that is on the 85 vanagon parts storage shed in the backyard. It even has a big VW logo on it. yes it is cool!!!

I have the same antenna. except some little BASTARD STOLE IT on the side of mine. Haven't got a before picture but I will definitely have a after picture when the sun shines tomorrow.

They are quite common on I think they are around 20 gbp. I need to get round to changing mine-another job for the winter!

It's the same cowl mount antenna used in pre-67 beetles & bay window-down busses. Don't confuse it with the regular vanagon antenna that a 67+ beetle uses, this one mounts flat to the body and is available with a black or chrome base.

After a closer inspection the regular Vanagon antenna would point the staff up, while this cool one lays it on the A pillar!

Wait, the aircooled 80 vanagon had it flat to the A pillar and had a little plastic clip at the top to hold it.

Damm kids broke the one off the parts shed

Thanks Dr Darby - I'm ordering one today.
I like the way it lies down in line with the A-pillar 8)
