| No I really don't have 56 questions. Just bought a 56 Beetle tonight after wanting one for over 30 years. It needs lots of work and I am sure to have lots of questions as I get into the restoration process. First question is about the missing front turn signals and the front fenders. I know that the "bullet" type signals are the correct ones, are the fenders all the same from 56 up to early 60's? Thanks, |

congrats on the purchase. The car should have front bullits UNLESS it is a semaphore car. 57 was the last year for bullit front turn signal fenders. easiest way to get solid answers is to post a few pics and let us see what you got.
Congrats again |

| Cool. I've also got a '56 and I am a little bit north of you in the Toledo area. If I can help out with info or whatever let me know. |

30 years? What took you so long?
The front fenders should have the metal tubes into the headlight buckets.
Good luck, and enjoy it. |

1956-59 fenders all have basically the same shape. |
