After 40 years ,tis 54 was towed out of his garage. The car is complete ,all the parts are there! Tis all hapened about 5 weeks ago!
The past owner gave the car away ,under 1 condition it had to be restored properly.
This is how the car was found ,after cleaning it`s garage.

| Nice, so what are the plans? Looks a little rough, but do-able. 8) |

The new owner is going to restore it back to original ,with the sign writing and all.
All the correct and original parts are there : engine , bumpers , taillights ,reflectors and so on.
It`s in a rough shape ,but the new owner got all the tools in his own company to reproduce sheet metal. It`s a big chalenge for him ,but with some time it will be done the wright way. |

| No, it's an orginal dutch barndoor with handpainted signwritting. The shape of the body is to far gone to save the side panels, so the owner has two options .. do it properly, or don't do it at all. The bus will be restored in original condition, and the handpainted panels will be safely stored, and will be used in the future as 'templates' to put the signwritting back on. |

Standing at the side of that bus with a Stihl saw ready to cut the whole sides out looks crazy to me. |

Really cool find!
For me, localised repairs to the sills etc and keeping the og sign writing would be much cooler than a full on resto, but then it's not my bus. |

top example of a signwritten bus with localised repairs
would it be as cool if the signwriting had all been redone :?: |

I can honestly see no reason at all why the whole sides have to be replaced. I`ve repaired much worse than this on newer, not anywhere near as rare - or signwritten!, buses.
Am I missing something? Apart from the usual rust in the bottoms the sides look fine to me :? |

| What a buzz kill, for a bus like that to be unearthed only to suffer a fate such as that. This is how a good thing turns bad. |
