How does he know it's "solid"? You can't even get to it!

"Remember this part is very rare and hard to find in this shape"
He adds this, just in case anyone forgot. WTF? NSS.

Anyone else notice the picture under the car of the pan? It looks like they drilled all the way through the entire pan support flange when they removed the old pans. Then, they didn't weld the holes closed. The new pan is not sitting flush on the flange with that huge gap between them.

The engine is simply littered with all the third world cheap aftermarket parts too.

Shame as it's a good looking bug.

But it’s all new!!! I wonder if they would sell all the OG parts they look off and binned?

LOL  Actually, there are fairly hard seats to find for the 3 styles of the '67 year... Ever price a set of '55 bug seats?

67ctbug Wed Apr 18, 2018 5:18 pm

I know they are hard to find Mark, but $550 for just the fronts is ridiculous to me. I think $200-$300 is much fairer. I paid $50 for just the tops with rusty springs and no covers.

Just curious, whats do you guys think a fair price is for a beetle in that condition?

Imo. Couple of grand if the pan and body match and it’s truly rust free.

I really don’t want to but I’m thinking the seller is Mr. Scammer. Maybe I’m wrong. No phone number, limited description and a Ohio plate.

I put it closer to $3k because of the year, rag and color. The front apron worries me a little. But it is from a part of CA that's climate friendly to cars.

In the ad he mentions the top may need "tweeking". But, no mention of the floor pans.

Ok I’ll play. What’s wrong with the floor pans?
