On my 76 bus, there are 2 Y connections that go through the 2 crossmembers under the chassis. Here's my question.
1. To the right of the first Y connection coming from the heat exchangers, there is a approx. 2.5 inch curved pipe the also is coming out the crossmember facing towards the front of the bus. There is no hose in place. Is there supposed to be and what would the other end be connected to?
2. At the next Y connection that goes through the crossmember, there is a hose coming out the left side of the Y and it appears to be correctly connected. Coming out the right side is a pipe with no hose connected. I'm assuming there should be, however I don't see where the other end would connect.
I can't seem to find any diagrams to show me how this ductwork should be. Thanks for any help.

The un hooked ones are probably for rear heat look around under the bus for same size connections on the floor. Cap them off with rubber plumbing caps from the hardware store so all the heat goes up front where you are. The rubber holds up fine to the heat I'v used them with the bottom cut out to replace the orange ones for the accordian tube to exchanger hook up.

I've looked all over the underside with no luck. I will keep my eye out for a late model bus in a parking lot and look at the setup.
