Well the bus made it to both show this weekend. It was a f***'n blast and it drove like a champ. It needs a few things worked out , but as far as it's first time out. It kicked ass!!! I ended up putting original sprint stars on it to fill up the rear fender well. It has a 4' CB beam, 63 spindel with Porsche 944 disk brakes. 412/082 tranny w/ a 2332 and sidewinder exhaust and bug disc brakes in the rear. I drove @200 miles with only minor problems.

Man, that came out nice. 6 month project?

bubba Tue Mar 20, 2007 10:41 am

Less then 1 month! On the paint/lowering/motor swap. 3 months of Q&A and parts gathering. :D

UZI Thu Mar 22, 2007 5:12 am

you need to deflate the tires to 20# to get across the sand until the pavement is down.

bubba Thu Mar 22, 2007 6:11 am

That's funny. You are looking at the backside of the building. It is paved to the building. 30x 32 11ft. height building. Almost done. I put it on the back burner to finish my bus. Why do they call it a building when it is already built? :D
