I love the car, but I have way too many and this one really deserves to be someone’s sole prized possession.
So is $58k your offer? |

Airkewld is now flipping the same pans for the low low price of $2,349.99!

Nope, not from them, those pans are junk.
We have a following. We offer them the parts they can't find. We bump the prices up 30% after cost, shipping, duties, taxes and fees. |

Not particularly Ghia specific but plenty of Ghias running Judsons... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/134728881512?
That's just over $250. They can be had on the Samba Classifieds for about $45 which IMO is still overpriced. |

How can you tell a repro from an original? |

There are NO originals...Judson never made a badge. They made a water decal like this. These water decals were part of the original kits:
The Judson kits with a Judson intake manifold (e.g. A-H Sprite) had a metal plaque, like this:
The 6 inch pot metal badges started appearing from Belgium around 1999. I bought one but couldn't find anywhere on my Judson Beetle that looked tasteful. It was around that time they started to appear on Ebay as NOS badges with an asking price of $150. BBT Bob told me he used to bulk buy them looking brand new or weathered (25 years style) very cheaply. He sold them cheaply too.
Haddon Judson jnr. hated them with a passion as did I, so I asked if I could have a smaller superior 9cm badge made. He agreed and I had these made here in the UK...I sold them for $30
People continue the fiction, claiming they are rare originals...don't be fooled, they are neither original nor rare. |

Anyone in search of 69.5 to 74 Vert "very hard to find" rear window? Only $2000.
I wonder if it's a typo? They're not that hard to find. I have 2 spares and I wasn't even in need of any.

Well if you are thinking of making a collection of them Marc, he says "I am firm on my price". Better look elsewhere. |

When I see them for sale here on TheSamba, I've seen "asking prices" as low as $200 and as high as $600 but under $400 is not so common. There's another one for sale for $175 right now but the glass has been replaced with plastic and it looks terrible. |

Yes it is...but not part of the sale he says. There a lots of good parts on that but overall would need lots of restoration. Numbers matching might be worth something.
$250 is probably a fair starting point

Buyer beware on this one. Only a partial photo of one of the electrical terminals, definitely not screw terminals for a low light. Doesn't mention if the screws holding the lens ring are original or broken (the screws that are there don't look stock). It would be nice if he would remove the rubber seals so we could see the terminals and see that the mounting studs are good. Those glass lenses look pretty pitted too. |

I have no idea about the price being high or low, but a complete, new 58-59 complete lowlight interior including carpet, frunk liner and even the dash pad made by the Aussie Trimmer for sale for $6000. It's probably a deal for someone who needs it?? Considering that shipping all these items from Australia is very pricey, and nobody else offers such beautiful work.

Dang if Im half tempted to buy a late lowlight just to put that beautiful interior in!
Wonder what the story is behind not using it? Why the car was sold without the interior? |

This was a limited time usage Ghia distributor, correct?
I think it's 1960 only?
Anyway, 2 people went head-to-head on it and ran it up super high.
It made me wonder if they knew what it was or just thought it was a regular old "4r5" 40hp distributor.

An entire passenger side of NOS sheet metal for a lowlight. Something you can't find every day. How do you come up with a price for something this rare? It would be interesting to see what it would get on BAT?
