I'd be willing to trade this for door and window rubber or VW logo Sigla pop out glass. |

Looking for so-34 flip seat removable table and parts along with the long wardrobe cabinet. I have so-42 parts to trade along with other bus stuff. |

I thought you scored with your bus but you have done it again! looks like a westy "camping box" cargo door closet. see here... http://www.thesamba.com/vw/archives/lit/55campingbox2/page2.jpg
I really hope this goes to someone who has the correct bus to put it in, not some collector/flipper. Awesome find! make sure you have not left anything else behind? |

Sounds to me like you are already to talking to Clara and Greg and they know more about that stuff then anyone else. I don't feel there is any need to post any of it here and get a bunch of peoples opinion as Clara and Greg will already have an answer for you on what you have. They should be the buyers/owners of the parts you have that have anything to do with Campingbox kits.
The best thing to do would be to remove the photos and post you have created here on that cabinet and discuss this stuff direct with Clara and Greg. |

I can't wait to see it on there! I saw that thing and I knew it was an old westy part because I have read about the knob and remember the design. My buddy and I were holding it in the air trying to figure out where it mounted, I thought it must come off the floor, didn't think it was a door cab! :D |

The question is... what did it come off of and how did you find it? Looks to be in great condition after all these years. |

I think the mauser bowls were So-23 era and flipseat era. The bowl stores in the "what not" cabinet below the tumblers in an So-23, in a flipseat it stores inside the cargo door cabinet.
The '58 & earlier cargo door cabinet had two shelves - one top - one bottom, which would need to be removed to hold that bowl. Even with those out of the way, I'm not sure if the bowl would fit, the dimensions of the cabinet might be different. I have never tried. |

I was going by this picture #3 but I think it's just a porcelain bowl.

May be an optical illusion but that photo Red Fau Veh posted is different than picture #3 having no bottom and hourglass part is shorter. The toothpaste/shaving soap shelf is missing on the mirror also. |

It has both doors, the bottom one has the hinge and the middle does look shorter than that old pic. I can't see an additional shelf on the mirror in that pic. Here is the other pics I have of the cab.
