| Im having my bug repainted and I wanted to know if originally the fender beading was supposed to be black or painted the body color. Thanks |

| Mine also is supposed to be black but when the previous owner painted the car, they painted the back beading (and left the front black - go figure) and I kinda like it painted better. |

| fender beading is cheap and when the paint on it starts to crack its going to look pretty bad just my 2 cents if you like the colored i think real source sells it in like 12 diffrent color even chrome wowie |
