Oh, the Miller 210 is about 4 times the size of the 135. I am sure there is about 4 times the good stuf inside of it! |

why has no one brought up just a good old acetalyne and oxygen welding and cutting setup ??? is this a outdated way ?? |

Gas welding has its place but there are certain things that it cannot do very well. Heat control is also an issue--you simply can't keep the heat down with gas like you can with MIG and expecially TIG welding. It is difficult to close a blind hole with gas unless you can get behind it. The learning curve on MIG welding is also not so steep as it is with gas and TIG. |

i only use gad for everything and dont have a issue but maybe cause i have been welding with it for 10 years now but i do everything from sheetmetal to welding frames for motorcycles and such and works great for me you just gotta know the tricks to keep your heat down so you dont blow through |

if you use the right tip you can go lower than 24 gauge steel and thats thinner than most sheetmetal thats used for VW's |
