vwfye Wed Jun 06, 2007 12:53 pm

i know of a few sets, i would classify them in the highly uncommon realm more so that the ultra rare.

as for the american racing lemans wheels... i have a set on my notchback as well... i love them!

robbug Wed Jun 06, 2007 6:43 pm

Anybody ever seen (or have) rivieras that are only 4 1/2 wide, but still have the raised square areas on the spokes?? I've got one and need another.

a one off? set of hand made steel 14 by 6" and 14 by 7" rims.

the rims are dated 71 and 72 so i guess that that is about when they were made. i don't know who made them yet, but they had a LOT of time on thier hands. originaly chromed.

a big thank you to Ash who let them go from his stash.

not for sale

These are another verson of Fumagalli stamped '67, I've never seen another set around. A few years back Everett had one wheel he sold on here, I think he just wanted the tire. I have a set of 5 sitting in the garage.

I am pretty sure I have a set of these in my barn. If not they are VERY similar.

Ah they are different. the center is pretty much identical, but the holes around the outside are elongated.

ratlookvw Mon Jul 13, 2009 3:29 pm

that red wheel was made in brazil by fumagalli jc whitney sold them too in the 70's, not to be confused with the other fumagalli wheel.
