| I need a new back for my 71 super. Are the back seats different from year to year? from standard to super? Or will any back seat from any beetle work? thanks, Dan |

| I have a super 71 and a super 72. I haven't taken measurements, but the back seats look identical to me. |

| I tried mounting retractable seat belts out of a newer SB in my 71 and they didn't fit (due to the seat getting in the way of the whole mechanism), so I'd guess the newer back seats are different. |

| somebody's going to give me the seat froma 67 (regular obviously) i'll keep you posted. If it doesn't work, i can get one out of a 74 super, and try that. I should have mentioned, only the top half. |
