I have found out thru Trial and error, That it's best to glove and applicator the area's you choose to do then--------------- neutralize! Why do the inside of the case when you truly don't Need too! Some will argue that when dipped you don't have a choice! Well I guess if your Paying a shop to do it and they DIP ONLY -----then You don't have a choice. It's Taken alot of wasted Magnesium for me to come up with the right Formula--But I feel I have achieved a level of satisfaction in protection of the Magnesium let alone Finish Color---I will say this Reaction Time/times are critical and even after Neutralization the chemical process can still be in affect. what looks great one minute you neutralize go to lunch come back----and your case looks like a Neucular Explosion can change in a Blink of an eye. Also I have heard that some feel the color Looks like ASS!! Funny why is there a Sh#$@$ load of Guy's trying to Duplicate?
Find a shop that applicates rather than Dips---WHY!!----because#1 It's way less expensive. #2 There is a layer of thickness that is applied when Coated and if you have align bore your case before Dipping it's a pain (In my Opinion To clean) plus your oil pressure relief Valve Pistons will NOT RESPOND the way they where designed---now that's in an extreem situation. But Why take the Chance? Eric (VMR) |
