2067Bug: Mine was kind of a tongue-in-cheek response to Eric&Barb's..sorry if the sarcasm was inappropriate :oops: but a non-stock pulley setup might be the cause of a tight belt when warm.
.....but in Karmann Paul's problems I would also suspect the Goodyear belt in the non-stock size.....no matter what the Goodyear book might say. In his case I'd try and find Continental belt in the correct metric size. I have seen a variety of specs mentioned for the belt size, but the Goodyear size seems too wide ("11") and too small length ("900") from what I've usually seen.
