| Does anyone know if there is an insert for a glovebox that allows a stereo to be installed in the glovebox. I could swear i have seen one but I am not too sure. |

| Glassaction only has plain T3 glove boxes. The stereo ones are for T1s only. If you still want to buy a Glassaction T3 one let me know...I'll sell you the one I got for a deal. |

Figured I'd revive an old thread instead of starting a new one. I wanted to know if anyone has tried the hidden stereo glove box replacement found at carparts.com? It's made of ABS plastic and not fiberglass so I'm worried it might be cheap and flimsy. Also, another thread was saying that a radio in the glovebox on a type III would be a problem due to the limited space between the dash and the firewall.

| My JVC AM/FM/CD stereo fits right in the stock location with the stock 69 VW plastic mount hogged out! I've still got a good glove box too! |

with a little patience you can build one yourself thats what my dad and i did.

| i might be wrong but i'm 90% sure that the bug glove box will fit t3's. The only difference is the lever for the boot isn't there (assuming you have a newer one that does). So i want to say the plastic abs one that you find at any vw shop w/ the stereo plate will fit... |

| Type 1 has a flat verticle dash. Type 3 is angled. Think about it. |
