So i bought the westy diesel of my dreams last year, mostly restored with VW Qauntum turbo added to the rebuilt 1.6. All good until the exhaust recently went bad. The muffler shop can bend pipe to fit my needs, but the question is the manifold. Today they'll take the whole thing out and see if the manifold is cracked or can (if there is a god) be resealed...
So anybody know where to find an exhaust manifold from a VW Quantum turbo diesel :cry: (if it comes to that.)
And I'm curious what else has come up for you with similar turbo-diesel set-ups, as a result of going non-stock.
Any thoughts are much appreciated!

| There is someone on e-bay all the time selling those motors and parts. Contact him. Failing that there is an outfit near me that imports those vehicles and parts, but man is he expensive!!! rvwestfalia.com. I'm sure he could supply what you need but be ready. |

your going to want to check out the Diesel tuning forums

and then keep looking on Ebay for VW TD parts.. they show up all of the time, problem is vanagon Diesel drivers are no longer the only ones looking for them.. there is some $$ competition in our Diesel and TD market.
