isn’t “non-alcoholic beer” an oxymoron? |

Been main lining fresh hops this time of year. This was canned a couple weeks ago. Canned craft beer starts to degrade after 4 weeks. Fresh hopped beer maybe sooner. Drink em if you got em. 100 pounds of fresh Strata hops go into this batch. It’s delightful, fresh, bright, and not syrupy.

A friend recently brought me this one. Holy hell this is strong stuff, both flavor and ABV. Makes for a nice, end of the day, time to take a nap before bed time treat. 11.8% ABV, 32 IBU, 100% delicious!

thursday afternoon in san luis, sitting on the patio at oak and otter brewing. blue sky, nice breeze, fresh cold beer, petty and the heartbreakers on the sound system, and a good book.
the beer is hoppy otter. a west coast ipa with citra and mossic hops. 6.8% abv. light yellow color. unfiltered. bright citrus notes at the beginning. light hoppy bitterness on the tongue.

Had some beer from a brewer at June Lake Calif. Pretty good stuff. Plain white label on the container, but good. |

Fresh from resting for a year or two on the floor of my root cellar with all of the other quality stouts in my collection. So smooth and tasty!
