I tried to find this using the search function but failed :(

My door pillars and inner fender well look like swiss cheese on my 57. What years can I use as donor cars? I see 58-64 get thrown around alot. But that doesnt really help my case. Will I need another 57?

I'm in south Georgia with a donor '57. I pulled just about everything off of it for my 56 project, but it might have the body panels you need. I'm at work right now, so I can't go look at it, but I think the door pillars and fender wells are in relatively decent shape (except where I cut out the rear suspension mounts in the rear fender wells). The floors and heater channels are completely rotted away, so there is a chance the pillars and wells are damaged, I just can't remember. I'm pretty much done with it. There are few more pieces I was waiting to remove but I can have that done this weekend. It would just be the body, minus the front end and rear apron. Like I said, there is not much left.

Let me know exactly what you need, and maybe we can help each other out... I need this thing gone!! I received a letter today when I went home for lunch saying that it is against my subdivision's "covenants" to have a parked, non-working car anywhere on my property for any extended amount of time. Bastards! :evil:

Damn I love the samba forums!

Sounds like we may be able to help each other out. I need a few places on the body, door pillars on both sides, and inner fender wells. Im going to put in new heater channels so thats not an issue. I dont live in the dreaded grasp of the "homeowners association" LOL I could ditch the shell in my backyard. Lets make a deal.

i've got some pics on the 'puter at home. I'm not sure if I have any of the pillars or fender wells, but I'll take some more if it ever stops RAINING!!

No kidding about the rain. Seems like the sky is gonna fall out everyday around 5pm. We have been getting some killer lightning storms here in the evenings too.
