sorry for the late reply. My friends do this all the time. Its called tire stretching, and results in less side to side flex of the tire, and allows you to fit lower offset wheels. 185/65 on a 7 inch rim is not an agressive stretch at all.

recommends a 6.5" max, but it will be fine. |

you have 3 options,
1. have someone redrill your drums
2. buy some that are already drilled
3. adapters
Measure your drum to fender clearance and then the wheel offsets, and see how much space you have to play with. I would only run adapters if they also served the function as a spacer to fill the fender better. Other than that i would do 1. or 2. |

| but to dril the drum is a a bad idea , because the it should be on the same line of the old ones but the new holes is 4*100 and the old ones 4*130 so we have 15 mm between the center of the old hole th the new one . i think it is not strong . there is no need for spacer. |

Its not 15mm between the holes if you drill them 45degrees round the drum.
Really, I´d buy new, redrilled drums.
These wheels are for a BMW E30 right? |

Then maybe try to find a small engineering shop that can re drill your own drums.
I don´t know anything about adapters - sorry! |

Why not try these? They would only be $320 for four of them.

I do not know of anyone besides CSP that sells adapters to 4x100 and those are gunna be $$$$$.
best bet is to find a shop locally to redrill yours, or get the cip1.com ones suggested above |

there are many factors to consider here.
1st-- what year is you bug?
2nd- is it lowered? How much?
3rd-- if you run 15 x 7s, you probably don't want adapters.
they'll push the wheels out even more, may cause rubbing.
4th-- what's the off-set of the wheels?
5th-- what size tires you plan on running?
with more info it'll be easier to get a better idea of what you need to do.
I've purchased cip's drilled drums( 5x100 ) and they are good quality. |
