What about that one brunette about 17 with the salmon colored fasty from San Jo about the same time?
Fuck it was just ON at a show one fine Sunday...and her dad strolled-up. Fucking parental cock-blocks are the worst.

that was Kelly err i think it was Kerry not sure :?

Church Key Sun Aug 12, 2007 11:45 am

Yeah, Keri sounds about right. Was a long time ago...I just remember thinking how it's funny that sooner or later each VW model comes into vogue...it was Fastys at that show...
And then, WHAP! Keri starts kinda chattin' me up...I was feelin' it until pops rolled-up, and saw my scraggly ass mentally marinating his #1 daughter.
Hahhahahaaaa.

I know this is a little off but does anyone remember that hottie that was always winning the VW bikini contests back in the early 90's. you know, the ones the car shows used to have in Cali. I am sure her name was Tina New or something like that. For some reason i remember seeing her in a lot of the VW trends and Hot VW's back in the day. Anyone??

Sorry, I was reading the thread and peeps started talking about ladies and VW's. It just popped in my mind so i just put it out there really quick. Didnt think i deserved its own thread but want to to see if anyone remember her.

My bad.

P.S. Love the bus JJ. I am stoked you kept it and dig the brotherhood displayed in this thread also. There is too little of that these days.

all that means is buy it while you have the chance. i've put stuff up for sale, it doesn't sell in my timeframe/at the price i want, then it's not for sale. a year later? yup, it's for sale again.

$55K is a nice amount of money

draginwagen Mon Apr 14, 2008 3:39 pm

I've been enjoying watching the KCW build on this one
Surprised at how much metalwork has been required for a CA bus

Cool.

I have been following their rebuild for weeks now, crazy. How many working hours does a day have in Co ? 25 ? Quite rude build in some places but then the bus probably needed it. I was just visiting a similar 54 project 2 weeks ago and the amount of work going into a DLX full rebuild seems to be endless.....
