I recently replaced my torsion arms w/new balljoints already pressed in, both tierods, drag link steering damper, sway bar & shocks. Now my steering us UBER-sensitive, any slight movement of the wheel and the bus drifts. I correct and it over corrects. I measured the length of the tierods & drag link to the old ones about 10 times so I'm sure they're close. Feels a bit tight too. Are there any adjustments I can make to smooth things out...maybe on the steering box? |

you must have the front end alignment done professionally after the work you have done. you can get it close enough by measuring to drive it to the alignment shop, but i would never drive it on the highway unless it was aligned. there are too many variables involved, especially with replacing the entire trailing arms.
as for tight steering, no idea. this seems to be an issue with some ball joints, but we haven't seen it here with the ball joints we use. |
