met one of his firends at Carlisle PA car show last week. Said he buys and sells old(also new,NOS) vw parts and cars and has some old Type 3 parts. He also restores old vw's. Has anyone had any dealings with him?

Richie is a good guy. I would have no hesitation doing business with him. He is pleasant and personable, and keeps good communication when buying and selling parts. Richie stands out amongst the many people i've dealt with selling VW parts.

Ive known richie since the 80's when I first got into vw's . and I just bought a tranny from him 3 months ago....stand up guy all the way!!

As everyone else said, he's awesome! Goes out of his way for you, keeps good contact. I swapped a few watercooled parts with him a few months ago. Awesome guy!

Richie went out of his way recently to help me find a good used replacement wheel for my '96 Passat--eventually locating one at another business in his area. He referred me directly to that business to transact the purchase, which was at a very reasonable price. As far as I could tell, Richie got nothing out of the deal--but he definitely generated a lot of goodwill. I would definitely not hesitate to do business with Richie in the future. Thanks again Richie for your help.

I met Richie at the Deutsche Classic, he had the engine tin I needed, but not with him. Two days later I drove over to his shop to pick up the part and he was very helpful. Recommended seller.

i've known richie for almost 10 years and he is a stand up guy. he does air and water cooled and knows his stuff. recommended.

Richie is a nice guy, sold him some turtlebacks a while back. Haven't needed anything in a while but when I do I'll give him a shout for sure!!

Just stopped by and got a few things from Richie. Couldn't have been nicer. Responded to may calls and emails quickly. He has a vast amount of knowledge and the parts to match. Will do business with again.
