These Kempes buses all seem to have a pretty hard life ... :shock: :lol:
Amazing pics! I did get my hopes up and think I was looking at a single cab for a moment though ... |

Wow... i did know there were other Kempes vans as due to a mistake when researching mine i was given some paper work for another later van by the swedish lady i befriended (its illegal for them to give out data from unknown or rather unowned chassis numbers apparently). I cant believe part of one of them exists still ....
Im at a loose end currently... if the remains are for sale then let me know and i will do my best to make it run again! :wink: |

| If the opportunity crops up and someone can point me in the right direction of where to pick it up the bits and who to pay (assuming its for sale) then i would guess driving to the next Hessisch in it wouldn't be out of the question. :) |

feel like a drive?
i bet if you rocked up in your kempes with an album of rebuild pictures, the owner would give it to you. |

Hello Mark,
Sorry to say, but the remains seems to be gone. :(
My pics are 5 years old so I didnt remeber it all. Look what I find when I checked all my pics;
It wasnt a panel van, It was a crew cab.
When my brother and I find the remains we thought it was too much work and the vehicle was too new for us, so we left it. But thats before we know about the BD Kempes bus...

Hi Bentyl,
Ah such a shame, and the back was there too. Would have made a good project but if its gone then its gone.
Did the land owner say what had happened to it or did you just go and look at where it was?
Thanks for taking the time to look for me, if you find any other Kempes vans then please let me know :-)
Cheers
Mark |
