Great buyer who knows what he wants and pays promptly. Were I in the La Habra, California area, I'd stop by his shop as a customer just based on my one transaction with him.

I 1st met Paul at his shop in La Habra, Ca in the mid 80's...he's worked on many many of my cars(even a 71 datsun 510 w/dual sidedraft 48's ;o ) over the years. Paul knows VW's inside and out and... he's not a bad harmonica player either! Even though i've moved to Hawaii, I still buy parts from Paul..such as a 64 standard bug hood recently... When you find the right source, you stick with it!

I bought a 67 only cigarette lighter from Paul, and the transaction went smoothly. He communicated well, and, although he wasn't able to ship it out immediately, he let me know what was happening and sent me the tracking information when he sent it. It was well packaged, and I would buy from him again.

Great transaction with Paul. After a bit of discussion, we were able to determine which parts (oil bath) would work for my bus and I made the purchase.

The parts showed up quickly and are BETTER than the pictures! How many times does that happen? :)

So about Paul Ricketts.
Well I first learned of Paul by driving by his shop in La Habra, CA in the mid 80’s. I met Paul a few short years later at his shop and we became friends and have been since! I have bought countless parts from Paul over the past 40 years. Paul worked on several of our water cooled vws, a few of my many air cooled cars and even double checked my carburetor settings on my old Datsun 510 track car with dual Webers. Paul was a ‘go to’ guy for all sorts of stuff and always the best!

Paul knows his Porsches and VWs! His parts knowledge is beyond compare! Note that Paul isn’t afraid to bust a note or rip a mean riff on the harp either!
