hi guys... i've been searching for some time , but no luck. does anybody knows for which model theer has been standard on rear decklid?

VW never used a 1200 badge for US models. You'd have to look to overseas markets to find such an item. Did you try posting a WTB (Wanting To Buy) Ad in the Classifieds?

Long after they introduced the 1300 motor in '66, and 1500 in '67, you could still order a 1200 motor outside the USA. So I would guess that since there was nothing but 1200 before '66, the VW1x00 badges started in '66.

My brother's Euro '67 had the VW1500 badge and I've seen those with VW1300 and VW1200 on them also.
