.

For obvious reasons they change their eBay username around....

It is fairly simple math when you start looking into it! :)

Vic you really need to try harder to hide your tricks! :)

internet wrote: Ran across this ad

and it had a "certain style" to it so when I looked at the feedback and saw the Italian Vespa stuff the picture was clear:

Red flags:

Nevada Title (Yet in So Cal, as ZSI operates with one foot in NV other in CA)
A lot of spray painted parts (clutch, vacuum pump etc etc).
PLenty of Lambretta & Vespa parts sold (see feedback)

So just make sure you are aware that ZSI is really behind ads like this....

why the hell does the SAMBA let them advertize.
He tried real hard to get me to believe his lies and pass off an illigally imported grey market doka with a bill of sale from nevada only.
then the vehicle kept changing it's color in the photos...
then more lame shit, this scammer has been at it for over a decade, just goes to show you all how lame nevada's legal system is....

oh and he's still trying to sell that doka with the same 10 year old picture as he sent me....

Since you were not specific, I believe you mean this vehicle:

He has been banned in the past (if I remember right it was many years ago) but now the feedback is here for everyone to read. Unfortunately there has been a single person that reported issues that posted some issues without giving the full story and created multiple accounts in order to post "negatives" from what looked like multiple people, making his reports harder to believe. At one point this thread was locked due to arguing and general abuse.

Anyway...
I updated the warning in the first post of this thread, he is one of the few people on the site with a warning in their feedback.

I bought a 1990 Doka Syncro from Vic 5 years ago. He and his brother allegedly "Restored" the rig. Vic assured me he had started with a rust free example and that they had taken the truck down to bare metel and cleaned out all of the seams and properly body sealed everything up before the re-spray. He also assured me that he had restored all the mechanicals including engine and both ends of the syncro functions. He assured me every thing was in excellent condition. He assured me that he was an expert with decades of experience restoring these kind of vehicles.
Vic told me he had sent the truck to his niece Saba, and she had the vehicle in LA for examination. I had a contact living in the area take a look at the rig before I purchased it.
Well.... just like the many other posts here, what I got from Vic was screwed. When I got the truck delivered to Oregon the paint was mediocre, the front syncro drive was not functioning and within one year rust started to emerge from every seam on the truck's body. The worst part of the deal I only discovered after I had sold the truck. Turns out this truck must have been an illegal import, as Vic had switched the vin tag and Id numbers from a US spec vanagon passenger van.
So my advice to everyone is do not just walk away but run...sprint away from anything associated with Vic and his relatives

Why has this man not been arrested for fraud?

Ohh yet another ZS imports mis-truth in advertising.

The plate does NOT allow either 15 degree or 50degree mounting.
it only has 1 set of transmission holes to allow only 1 method of mounting..
and it looks like 50degrees like the Diesels.

also this is very nearly useless if you are not offering the flywheel&clutch or the Flexplate for the automatics.
sure it'll bolt the motor to the transmission (at 50*) but you need the flywheel or flexplate to connect the crankshaft to transfer the power to move.

I purchased a hibeam lens from ZSI this week. I almost didn't based on this feedback. ZSI emailed me the same day about payment, sent me the tracking number within an hour after I paid with PayPal, and I got the lens st the end of the week. It was new old stock as described. Sounds too good to be true based on the previous feedback? I need to give my positive experience in fairness. I will buy again from him when I need something.
