Any one attempt painting the thermostat flaps, and if so any help full

hints. I'm afraid that painting will interfere with the flap operation.

I think I've seen these powder coated somewhere, but I'm not sure

Did the search and found nothing.

I had mine media blasted with my tin, but was afraid that powder painting would lockup the movement. So I sprayed mine with a clear heat resistant paint by Eastwood called Diamond Clear.

Thanks Glen

Would you know where you can get these little grommets that fit on each

side? There isn't much left of the ones I pulled out. Are they neccesary?
