Any one attempt painting the thermostat flaps, and if so any help full
hints. I'm afraid that painting will interfere with the flap operation.
I think I've seen these powder coated somewhere, but I'm not sure
Did the search and found nothing.

I had mine media blasted with my tin, but was afraid that powder painting would lockup the movement. So I sprayed mine with a clear heat resistant paint by Eastwood called Diamond Clear. |

Would you know where you can get these little grommets that fit on each
side? There isn't much left of the ones I pulled out. Are they neccesary?
