Yea he sent me a pic in the CHEAP PAINT forum , it looks awsome , he said that he hasn't got any pics of it in the sun yet due to snow , i really like the color, but i was just wondering if anyother folks out there may have have used different colors since kirkers selection is limited . Iam planning on going with the kirker paint system this spring !!! So, if any one has any other testimonies with this paint system , please feel free to share pics !!! Thanks alot YALL :) !!!!

The color on the bus is Mayan Gold UA-11120 and vision clear. I do not buy the kits but have been using the kirker products for years. I've had good luck with the epoxy and high build primers along with all the paint. Good Luck

That was another color I was considering , would you say that its a coppery color ? Or does it actually look gold in person ? you said that you have used kirker paint for some time now, do you have any previous pics of other projects? your bus looks awsome !!! Thanks Alot .

Ceck out www.kirkerautomotive.com. They have just added a virtual car show to their site. It might help out your decision making process.

NO VW photos of this paint

but I have used it. Has really good hide. good shine. I used the 2 pack premixed gallon to paint my dump trailer. I did very little sanding or prep. the trailer was pretty dull oil base from original paint. Some bare metal in spots. I painted it and it stuck on there really good. I loaded the trailer up with huge amounts of heavy wood. I painted the inside of the dump area with NO PREP....just power wash. There was no place that it scratched off. even where the timbers scraped against the sides.
The problem with this paint is it is in limited colors. And the metallics are not a basecoat. They are designed for single stage. I like to put clear on my metallics. It can be done, but you need to wait a long time (maybe an hour) to put the clear over the base. Needs to catalyze. Other than that it is good paint and cheap.
