As I stated in another thread, I'm a huge Hockey fan, I have liked hockey since the 70's, when my city had a WHA team (The Bulls) since then I have been mainly a Rangers fan and a Red Wings fan. how many other hockey fans are on the Samba? |

Grew up a Penguins fan... since the blue and white uniforms. I became a Wings fan when I went north for college.
Started playing in 1969.
I live near Columbus but can't get on the Blue Jackets bandwagon. Nash is tough though.
I coach a college team that has only lost 8 games over the last four seasons and ref through the collegiate levels.
My 3 year old boy and 5 year old girl just started skating lessons two weeks ago and I'm watching from a distance (not easy).
Hockey fan??? Somewhat. |

I earn a living off of pro hockey so I can't show my bias.
Leafs suck. |

Wings fan here, got Direct TV about 8-9 years back just so I could order "Center Ice" Had a few rough years here recently with deployments and the lock out, but the wife supports my habit by mailing me games on VHS. |

my friend is a dipshit and doesn't know how to properly resize pictures. this is from last nights game against the ducks. me with the drummers that roam the staples center and play during intermissions and tv timeouts
Ivanans and Parros being lead to the box after Parros got his ass handed to him.
although I went to a ducks game last week and the best part about it was the gorgeous OC chicks that scoop up the snow around the goals and benches during the breaks. mmmmmmmmm.... |

Wings fan since ~'83. Was at my grandparents in northern Minn. and the North Stars were playing the wings. Of course Dad and Gramps were North Star fans, so I had to be the punk kid and root for the other team. it has been natural ever since.
I am truly amazed how the Wings did not drop off that much with Yzerman's retirement and Shanny leaving for the Rangers.
What annoys me out here is there are Sharks fans, but they are not hockey fans. They only know about the Sharks and are complete tools when talking about other teams.
Don't forget Skill competition tomorrow and All Star game on Sunday (if you get Versus). |

Up here that happens as soon as the Sharks make the playoffs. |

on a somewhat related note, next season there will be an ECHL team playing in Ontario (15 minutes away). which will save me the hour drive out to downtown LA
