No W2 yet, but that doesn't do me any favors when I get it as I have IRA paperwork and mortgage statements that hold me up. I can't deduct any of my college tuition anymore since I make too much  |

It is probably more correct to say it is supposed to be postmarked by January 31st.
I work in distribution center for government compliance forms (W2's, 1099's) and you would be amazed how many orders we get after the 31st. |

Not yet. Bosch seems to like to wait until January 31st every year. |

Every place I have ever worked has always mailed it out on Jan. 31st. I have never been lucky to get one so soon. As soon as everything is in, though, I do my taxes. The only thing that really sucks, I am still trying to pay for 2006, my first year working out of college. Misjudged things a little (which is stupidity on my part) . Oh well, at least it will be paid within the next month or so. |

I work three jobs and have received only two so far. i work at two restaurants and at a Local supermarket. the supermarket is the only one i need. I need it soon so that i can do my taxes and fill out some college papers. I can't wait for my return. I might get a new exhaust on my '85 cabby. |

What about the new "Lifetime Learning Credit" they're offering now? You get a credit of up to $420 for tuition right off the top, and I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter what kind of salary you pull down...I'm sure your tuition was a lot more, but hey, this is a credit!
I thought it ironic that they were offering college kids a $420 credit...
EDIT: Correction...apparently there is a salary cap...check it here:

I've had mine and the wifes w2 for a couple days, guess I need to go see my people and get them done.
How about the tax rebate they will be sending out late spring early summer? Wonder if that will happen? |

A President and Congress that love to spend money, with a Fed chairman all too eager to print more money -- it's a done deal. |
