| The car has a problem at revs under about 1700 when warm. I had the GoWesty 2.2 engine installed in 2021. It appears it gets too lean a mixture. When I take off when the traffic light switches to green, it’s prone to die unless I rev it up quite high. It barely has power to turn with no load at all and sometimes it stops and I have to restart it. When cold it is stronger. At speed the power is adequate. My garage tried to adjust the air meter door and it maybe got slightly better but it’s not like when I had the original 1.9 engine. The original engine burned out at about 150,000 miles. :shock: |
