Thanks for your advice and expertise. I am trying to remove the ignition key cylinder from my 68 transporter. I am sticking a hanger in the hole on the cylinder. Is this the right spot to release the cylinder? How much pressure should I apply? Does it twist out or pop out? Thanks again for your help.

Thanks for the reading material. Tumbler came right out. My new keys don't match it. I will take it to my friendly, neighborhood locksmith on Monday to match it to the door keys. Thanks again for guiding me in the right direction.
