This sucks I have searched hi and low and can not find a tach/dwell meter. I have a brand new one craftsman some where and I can't find it any where. So I went to sears o'reily's autozone napa and can you beleive no one has them anymore all they have are code readers for newer cars. So I came home and found them on amazon.com so I bought a new dwell meter and a vacuum/fuel pressure guage for 38 dollars now back to waiting on UPS again. Thats the only part that sucks about being surrounded by corn feilds and no population. Just had to get that off my chest thanks for listening to me vent. Now to the car wash to get 2 years of leaves out of the car

I live in the sticks also. Well, about 20 minutes to town. And the town is a small foothill community so our big shopping store is Kmart. We have your typical FLAPS there also. But every time I need something, it is a wasted hour back and forth. Then I get home and forgot I needed X and X. The way it is living in a nice area away from the busy cities.

I bought a digital Actron dwell/tach/multimeter from Autozone in my area about a year ago.

That actron is the one I just bought on amazon.com for 24 dollars I knew I could order one in but I was really hoping to pick one up local

I had to borrow a tach/dwell meter from a friend of mine. I've been out bid several times on the E but, one day...Watch out. It's wierd how much they are going for. I mean, good quality meters. Hell, even basic timing lights too are selling high. :roll:

I found one on ebay for $10.00 plus $8.00 shipping. It looks just the ones they use in the manuals. Try there....

Then you'll never have to set your dwell again! I did this years ago when I had my T1 engine, and never looked back.

Here's the "econo" version that's as cheap as some of the dwell meters, and claims to fit in any stock T1 disty 1970+ :

Even if you want to keep your engine looking stock, these hide in the distributor; you can't see them.
