i put on about 100 miles sat and my high compression(9.5:1) engine and it ran sweet. i hardly ever have wife and kids, full tank of gas, and crap in front trunk. i thought it would overheat, especially on ocean drive down on south beach where we were just putting along. but i thought wrong. and even cruised home on I-95 doing 70! \:D/ best part was i did not even go through 1/2 a tank! 8) aaahhhh. i can't wait until my camper is rollin'!

Oh man I wish I coulda made it!

Had to work in the Keys, but I definately want to go to the car show on the 3rd.

I want to level out the rear on Betsy before then though, maybe get some better rear tires, mine are so bald I'm terrified to drive in the rain, along with the rear toe in.

Fala, Grand_Pooh-bah ! I´ll get try some decals of our club in our next meeting, 05 July . The early style Type II's was made here until 75´and in 76´start the production of the bay-window, in production until today. Today this early T-2s are very wanteds here, is hard of find some in good shape and when find, generally the price is very expensive. I´ll like of have one too, but in the moment I can have only my 65 bug 1200 . Sorry my bad english
