At the bottom of the forum index page:
"Most users ever online was 5312 on Mon Apr 16, 2018 2:23 am".
Is that time GMT? If not, it boggles the mind. |

Hmmmm, I hadn't noticed that a new record was hit recently.
That number seems unrealistic for the USA at that time of the day.
I went and checked my stats and there was a larger number of people on April 16th and April 17th. At the time of day listed, maybe it crossed over the day change in the USA.
Maybe the site was mentioned somewhere online and a lot of people came to visit? This happens from time to time.
Perhaps it was something outside the USA...
The time listed along with the "most users" text is whatever time you have your profile set to while logged in.
If you are not logged in, it's currently the same as PST
Here's a past thread, the previous record was 3358:

Time for a larger/faster server ;)
May I suggest a IBM z14 mainframe. The smaller one on the right can run Linux.

| Maybe it was everybody that had done their tax returns and dreaming of what to do with the money they're getting back. |
