Ok this is an odd one. Whenever I fill up with gas, the gas cap tightens on,y about 40 degrees, if that, versus the 90plus degrees for full lock. After a while driving it'll tighten up quite nicely. It's such a simple mechanism, but I avnt figure out why this might be happening. Any ideas? I've sprayed the rubber gasket with silicone, but that doesn't seem to have any effect. Also of note is that the cap comes off with normal effort/friction.
