Greetings,
Just picked up the June 2008, Excellence Porsche magazine, and was surprised at the "market update" section on 356 values. Just wondering if people agree with these recent market value numbers? Are people really spending this amount of coin on 356s? For example a 356 standard starts in the ~35K range, with a super nice version in the 50-55K plus range. I was unaware that the market has shifted upward so much on the 356.
About ten years ago I sold a very nice '60 hardtop sunroof coup for 14K and it was not easy. Why is the market going up so much? With that said, does that mean a super nice standard today should easily fetch 50K?
Kind Regards,

Just like land......they aren't making any more.
As always premiums are paid for carrera's, roadsters, speedsters and sunroofs. A coupes really took a jump in value a few years back. Values are at the point now where "parts cars" are being resurrected. |

I am usually hiding / driving in a VW bus, but it looks like I need to update some insurance values! I guess I should have bought the Roadster I was thinking about a few years back! |
