| When I pulled to motor yesterday I found a black wire with a fuse in it in the engine compartment. Any one know where this belongs? I have a hunch it has something to do with my alternator problem, but dont know. I have a handful of wires in the engine compartment that I dont know where they go, but the engine runs. Is there an easy to read wiring diagram? most of the wires that arent hooked to anything are in the same bundle as the coil and alt wires, but the black one is on the passenger's side. |

It should be for your reverse lights.

| 69Jim is right, it goes from your coil across your engine compartment then out a little hole to the reverse switch on your transmission & then to each taillight. Check 69Jim's link to your wiring diagram. |

| Sweet, I'll check when I get home. I am not putting the reverse lights back on the car so its no big deal, I just wanted to know where it went. That and a few other wires... I'll check the diagram. |
