If making up some backet sets please PM me with cost, I'll send it right out. Todd.

Yep, same here. Very interested in brackets ans maybe also in the modded 5x112 rotors, although I know shipping weight would be heavy.

Maybe you could order new Rotors through Schucks/O'reilly for pick up at the store near Jeff - He could modify them and ship them to you along with the brackets. Then you would only have to have the hubs modified.

The rotors are cheap: $24 for bendix - $25 for Raybestos each.

Shipping can't be that much - $20-$30?

Of course I am speaking on a 'What if' basis for Jeff with out his knowledge - I am sure he will chime in with what he can offer.

I think this is such a great set up I want to see it installed on more Vanagons!

One more thing - Anyone interested in a rear disc set up should check their local pull-a-part yards for Vanagon rear hubs - I bought mine for $14 for the pair. that way you can have them modified while you keep your rig on the road.

Out of curiousity, which Passat rims have you got Franklin? And what did you have to do to get them to fit properly?

Is there a way to check the rear calipers to see if they are NOT siezed when useing the scrap/recycling yards...A lot of Ford and Gm calipers will seize prematurely when the brake fluid has not been changed on a regular basis

the easiest and maybe more or less reliable is to pull the parking brake up hard then release..
if you can not turn the wheel easily by hand then it's likely sticking.
