I recently put LED turn signals on my sedan http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=304490&highlight=led+signals and ran into a problem that someone predicted. The LEDs don't draw enough current to heat up the flasher element. they worked fine until a couple days ago then just quit.
Could someone recommend what resistor I should use and do I need just 1, or do I need 4 (one at each signal)? |

Well, you could either get resistors, or a relay designed for LEDs. WEll hold on I'll have to look and see if they make one with VW/euro style terminals (49/49a/31)
Yeah, they do, it's the CF13-GL02, way down this page and have to pull it up from a dropdown menu when you get to the relay.

You'll also find some heat-sinked resistors for sale right next to the relays.
