Green? I prefer mud, but I didn't have time for that.

This is from Mystic Hot Springs in Monroe. It is a developed site that is pretty close to town although bordering a wilderness area. Very funky but nice soaking.

We always travel with a copy of Hot Springs of the Southwest on board. You can find it under that name pretty easily.

My campsites have trees, water and hopefully sand nearby. I have no need to hide. :?
The picture I posted earlier was the trail ride into this camp.

Sugarloaf State Park, Kenwood, CA (doesn't really count as wilderness, I guess)
Got a little misty on us overnight, but first trip as a family of four was successful! Probably going to invest in a "real" awning after this hassle. Especially the folding of a wet 12 x 12 tarp solo while trying to keep it out of the mud.

Spent a couple days in Death Valley before heading to Syncro Solstice. The weather was perfect. It's an amazing place!

Milestone post for me. This is my 1000th post and I figured I should do it in my very favorite thread on this forum. It took me probably 7 years to get here. I think DAIZEE might have hit that milestone in her first month!!

Anyway, this thread has been so much fun and inspirational to boot! It seems to consistently remain in the first couple of pages of threads and just keeps getting better and better.

Vanagons in the Wilderness Rock!!
