Actually i'm looking for a site that has aftermarket 36hp performance
stuff.
like okrasa style dual carb intakes, dual tip exhaust.
just the basic stuff that no one will sell if its old-stock.

That site is right here.
If you are looking for a website specializing in 2 piece case(25/36hp) speed equip that is reproduced and at "reasonable" prices. There is no such thing.

Na,man there is a company that repops allot of old school parts but
i can't find there website. they make a kit that allows you to bolt on
2-28pict carbs and it is suppose to be a good set up. thats what i'm after
and i really did'nt want to build my own. but i may have to.

And hats off to trayle, he built a set for his 36hp and its sweet. but he needs to make a couple of sets!!!!

The guy that did that kit is Danny Zepeda. Not sure if I got the last name right. I remember him pushing that kit about 7-8 years ago at Pomona. Try calling Lenny at California Classics in Fullerton. He might be able to hook you up with the guy. Check out the Okrasa Registry, maybe they got something in their classifeds. The "Vintage Speed" Equipment is just non existent. Alot of it gets snatched up and goes underground. This website you talk about, man I wish I could find it.....Karmann Konnection in England maybe. They got some pretty cool stuff.

You need a copy of an out-of-print book called "Making the Volkswagen Go!" It was written when the only engines were 25 and 36 hp engines. I don't know the author. There's a book seller in Beaverton OR named Logan Gray who has a copy.

Just googled him:

Automobile Books and Literature

Logan Gray
PO Box 922
Beaverton, OR 97075
503-292-7747

I think there's another book from the 50s called "Souping VWs" Same idea as the one above, but I haven't seen it.

These guys have it all or they can make it for you. They will make you Okrasa or PreA linkage, Okrasa manifolds or anything you want.

If you can contact them!
