id like to post some feedback on myself in response
to a situation over shipping address

in every one of my ads I clearly state that I will only ship to the address giving to me by paypal

earlier this month a samba member made purchase and they gave me a shipping address in email

i did not know this address was different from the address on their paypal account and i used the address giving to me by paypal
the buyer did not make me aware that the address was different until they received tracking info

i did offer to to go to post office and attempt to reroute package (wasting my time)
but before i had the chance they filled a claim with paypal stating they never received package because it was shipped to the wrong address

for the record i won the case with paypal because

THIS IS PAYPAL'S RULE !!!
I simply make it clear that I follow it

I DO NOT GO BACK AND FORTH comparing the info giving to me in emails
with the info paypal has on file

SO MAKE SURE THE ADDRESS ON YOUR PAYPAL ACCOUNT IS UP TO DATE
IF Your using someone elses paypal account to pay expect to get package from them (because im not shipping to you)

once in a while i do make exceptions for various reasons
but they need to be discussed ahead of time and even then don't count on it

Just posting to say I agree with you - the same has happened to me from multiple people in the past.
No Paypal claims but a few people were pissed - at themselves I assume.

SMOOTH PAINLESS TRANSACTION !!
Needed some replacement parts for my fuel injected Bay. On Wednesday (2 days ago) I found an electric fuel pump and an S-boot posted by Raul in the Samba classifieds. After an e-mail and a phone call I had both in hand yesterday because he agreed to bring them with him to his work, where I met with him. He blew half his lunch break to get these to me. Got my bus back up and running yesterday afternoon thanks to him.
Great parts. Great knowledgable seller. Wouldn't hesitate to do business with him again in the future.

Sent payment for parts and never received them. Tried countless times through email and pms to find out what happened but never responded to me. BUYERS BEWARE!!!

I had sent payment of $60 in December for some rear bumper splash pans for a bay window bus.

Long story short
I did have some family emergency's
I'm OK and getting back to things

I know it's been a long time since I've been on
the samba

I have responded back to chrysalisbass
