Not sure if you are serious here
Does it say that in the ad? I don't see that and I don't see any Bay metal myself.
Would a Bay middle even mate up to a Split Bus body?

"West coast Deluxe Bay window bus showing no signs of rust or prior rust repair" BAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Those lights!!! You couldn't put a bumper on even if you wanted to! you would no longer be street legal! And asking nearly 40k!?

The least they could have done is power wash the undercarriage. Its still dirty while its painted with a nice interior... HA!

"there is an ass for every seat" Told to me by a used car dealer I worked for. Good time to cash in on your VW vehicle if so inclined. The economy is in hyperdrive lately.

$98,750...... :?:

It's a bargain at only $3,750 MORE than the restored 1945 Kubelwagen. Only $74,250 more than the blue 68 bay on Oldbug that I would take any day over this, and forget the 65 Dormobile for $59,000 LESS... that thing is a piece of junk.

I have seen some stuff in my day... hats off to the builder, but that price is straight from Pluto.

But I do agree, that bay is a joke.

But... it's like half of that on Facebook. Why does posting it here bring up the price?

It sounds like here he's including the engine for $3200 instead of the $3000 listed on Facebook so still $200 more here.

When I posted, it was listed at $4000 here. But yeah, now it's only $200 more with the engine.

Yes, I can confirm he dropped the price from $4000 here - I can see that

It's parts... John and his helper (can't recall his name at the moment) are cool people, but John is up there in age (70 something I think) and he isn't too good with the computer. I'm not sure if he or his helper places the ads, but it's definitely for the parts. if you're ever in VT you should check his place out. John actually owned a dealership back in the '70s.

The bad part is where this gentleman is located. The pictures illustrate the salt, corrosion effect on these parts. There's not too many parts I'd personally buy from anywhere in the rust belt. I've done that and paid for it by throwing the part out when it arrived.
