I was cruising up 575 north of Atlanta GA yesterday, and fell in behind a '50 barndoor. Well-used, but perking along just like it was 1950. Pretty cool..... 8)

Sounds cool. How did you identify it as a 1950?

How about some more information like color, description of driver, etc.?

Didn't know that. This is the only Barndoor I know of in Atlanta. Thought it'd be Dave E's. , or else probably not a barndoor....or atleast not a 1950.

2nd bus in looks like the style, 'cept this one was "well used." Good bit of surface rust. Had a license plate frame that said 1950 Volkswagen. Had the big barndoor, but also had a small rear window. Blue in color. Couldn't get up next to them for traffic, and I had to turn off. Really cool seeing that old girl putting along. And yeah, I'd a traded my eyeteeth for it!

if I had been by myself, I would have. (Impatient) wife was with me, and we were on the way to pick up the grandkids for the night. Just wasn't any missing that turn! :(

could have dropped her off at the off-ramp, and kept going. 8) I bet there was another exit to turn around about a mile up the road.
