I think i need to trade this NOS 8mm tap for a 6mm one, i just want to confirm what it goes on before placing an ad. Am i right in saying that it would go on an early Barndoor ie one that would have been fitted with a 25hp engine? Does it fit on a bug too?

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe the change was at chassis number 20-041712. It was when VW changed from carburettor 26VFIS til 28PCI.
You can use it on a bug to, only different it the handle.

| That looks just like the one on my Oct. 53 Oval. Minus the extensioin on the fuel lever handle, like Tony said. |
