I talked to Mike Silva of Moore today and he says they don't have anymore of the beams and neither does EMPI , he told me to call tomomorrow and we would try and work out a solution .Thanx for at least talking to me , I'm counting on you to come through for us as this has been dragging on way too long.I didn't even mind waiting on the phone twice for at least 20 minutes each time. |

Recently (1 month ago) I placed a $1400 order from MOORES Parts Source (mooreparts.com), I was promised AC Industry brakes and received EMPI disk brakes, called and spoke to sales person who took my order and he denies saying that they had AC Industries brakes for sale, when I distinctly quoted the salesperson he said he never said that, so I requested the manager and he spoke above me raising his voice refused to pay for return shipping and told me that was the "the way internet ordering goes", he refused acknowledgement that his employee made a mistake, which by his admission has only been there 3 months.. basically called me a liar and kept raising his voice and repeating himself like if I was a 2 year old.
He refused to pay for the shipping back for the brake kits and which now its on my dime to the tune of $175.00, talk about an insult to injury.
I advise everyone to stay away from this company that has bad customer service, poor management conflict resolution and just plain a horrible company to deal with. |

MOORE PARTS SOURCE: PRODUCTS YOU CAN DEFINITELY LIVE WITHOUT!!! I ordered an oil pump and an oil pump puller over a month and a half ago from this company. When I installed the gears they would spin freely until they hit about a half an inch from the bottom of the pump; then they would bind and not spin. Then I took the new oil pump puller and turned the nut about a half a turn, and the whole tool snapped at the weld. I contacted the company about a replacement/refund, and they said to send them back no problem. After another week of no response from them, I contacted them to see what the hold up was; and they couldn't find the parts! I forwarded them all of the UPS tracking information with the dates, times and the name of their employee who signed for the package. AFTER ANOTHER WEEK of NO RESPONSE, I again contacted them to see what the delay was for reimbursement/part replacement. ANOTHER WEEK LATER...They have now informed me that the problems with the parts were due to User Error, and they would not be replacing the parts or refunding my money, but yet returning the broken parts to me!! Is this quality customer service or what?? THUS; BUYER BEWARE!!! MOORE is definitely LESS!!! I told them that if they have any questions or concerns; to be sure to call me at 1.800.382.5633 (1.800.F***OFF). #Fist |

First I would like to apologize if you have perceived our customer service as anything less than exemplary. We do try to provide our customers with the best service to our ability which we feel we have done in this instance. As a general rule in the industry modified parts are not accepted for returns or warranty issues. In your case we made an exception in the hopes we would still be able to help you. In reference to the gears binding in the Melling oil pump we sold you, the problem occurred when the pump was modified for your full flow needs. When the hole was tapped, the tap was run too deep and contacted the gear seats which pushed the corners of the walls and floor in. Therefore we have no other option than to return the part to you. This part can still be repaired by a professional machinist, we however do not provide those services.
In reference to the broken oil pump puller, when using this tool you must remember to loosen the case half bolts and nuts above and below the pump. In some extreme cases the pump may be “frozen” and additional tools may be needed in order to avoid instances like these. The manufacturer has no control over the applications or outside circumstances in which these tools are used, therefore they offer no guarantees or warranties.
When issuing a return or exchange, it is our procedure that upon receipt of the parts they are then inspected, evaluated and deemed either eligible for refund/exchange or denied do to improper installation or use. This process can sometimes take some time. I apologize if the delay was an inconvenience for you. We at no point made any guarantees or promises that you would receive a refund or replacement. We simply stated we would evaluate the pump and see what we could do to help you.
Lastly in reference to your comment on our staff not finding the parts, we have one person who oversees this process and if you spoke to anyone else they might be a little lost on the matter. I am sorry if this was not conveyed properly to you. All of our employees do try to help to the best of their ability and if the person specializing in that department is not on site or available at that moment they do their best. We never claim to be perfect but we will always try to help.
In conclusion we really do wish we could give you a different answer and we hope you better understand why our hands are tied. We hope to see you back in the future but if not please know we are sorry to see you go. If you care to discuss this further please feel free to contact me at 714-666-6688 or Christina@MooreParts.com

I'd like to order a tool from this company, but after reading the majority of the posts, I don't know if I want to trust them.
Does anyone have any recent dealing with them??? I'd like to know how your experience went. |

No one replied with any bad feedback, so I placed an order with them.
Ordered my parts on the afternoon of the 24th of Sept, received them via UPS on the afternoon of the 27th.
The salesperson was very friendly and helpful.
Very happy with this transaction and Moore Parts...I'd recommend them to anyone.
And best of all, my order was for over $200...so I received free shipping!! |
