I've used this mapping system when a BMW Airhead, and it helped a lot of folks to locate fellow bikers in their area. It also made a good tool for finding central locations for rallies.
Check it out and add your location so others know where their neighbors are. Feel free to post in other sites, the more the info the better.

Use the join button to put your location on map, it doesn't cost anything and doesn't put you on any lists |

Having a map like this to find nearby Thing owners is great, but I've noticed a lot of folks are just entering their first and/or last names (not their Samba names) and no contact info. I see you can leave a message for a person, but it looks like the message would be posted under their name for all to see. I'm assuming that the only way the person will receive the message is if he/she visits the site on a frequent basis? It may be a good idea to have everyone list just their Samba names. That way they can be contacted through the Samba if they don't want to list their contact info on that site. Just a thought.
Also, the site seems to have a little glitch. I created a profile with my nickname "Slim" and then thought better of it, deleted it and created a new profile with my Samba name. However, the first profile I deleted still appears when I open the map along with my new profile. Might make things a little confusing. |

Ahhh, it may not be a site glitch.
Kuhl 181,
are you able to edit the map you created? If so. can you delete the first 2 profiles I created (looks like there are 3 in total). Even though I tried deleting them, they are still showing up on the map.
Thanks! |

I didn't know it existed, why didn't you make a Sticky out of it so everyone could find it?
