If William Gaines was still alive your friend probably wouldn't have gotten any grief - a request for free admission to the show, perhaps, but no legal attacks. MAD sold out years ago. |

That sure is an early car. No cut outs for the tail pipes. Not sure about the heart tail lights, looks like maybe just a shadow on the left one, but who knows?
The additional after market brake light makes me think this might even be a split vert.
I think it has the wrong bumpers for sure. |

What ever the year they did not seem to have "more than one" to crash up and shoot more scenes with. And they sure drove the piss out of it!
I still enjoy the movie and really remember loving it when I was a kid.
