sled wrote: very nice Jeremy. Looking forward to more updates. when bending that outer rocker skin, do you just shrink the flanges on the edge and the curve stays consistent? I tried a long bus rocker and it wouldnt hold the curvature in the center as well as the ends. No way for me to use a sliproll to make it either.

the patch on the front of the rear wheel well, did you use tipping dies on the bead roller to roll that flange? or did you hammerform the flange over and then use the shrinker to add the arc?

harbor freight can help you make some cool shit with some time and patience.

amazing

Damn, that looks awesome! How are you doing the drains in the bottoms of the rockers?

lawn ninja Tue Jan 27, 2009 12:18 am

Damn this is impressive to watch.

I made the other inner rocker but haven't cut it to length yet. I ripped out the floor and started making top hat structure to fix all the rotten ones. The entire front top hat piece will be replaced. I also cut the other bed side out and need to fix wher the gates attach because it has been pushed in. I also started making the pedistal mounting plates.
